Auckland Theosophical Centre Library has available to members a unique collection of sacred texts and significant works on philosophy, science, and the world’s religions. Prominence is given to the ancient traditions of the world, with sacred texts and commentaries arranged in the historical, cultural, and geographical context in which they evolved. In this way, the reader can follow the recurrent ideas that have helped people of all cultures find a deeper meaning in life.

Also included is a wealth of material on Western Philosophy, comparative religion and mythology, Theosophy, Mysticism, Alchemy, Masonry and material from various Ancient Wisdom Traditions as well as leading-edge fields of science.

The primary objective of the Library is to provide the resources for each to research into the Ancient Wisdom Traditions and their relevancy for today with particular regard to The Society’s Mission:  To serve humanity by cultivating an ever deepening understanding and realisation of the Ageless Wisdom, spiritual self-transformation, and the Unity of all Life..

The public is welcome to browse and study, and members are available to discuss Theosophy and to assist in particular areas of interest and research.
